English has always been one of the attractive languages around the world because of its global language status. Christ college realises the growing demand for English language and literature and thus keeps a well functioning department for the same under the leadership of resourceful faculties. The department handles BA English course which is one of the attractive Batchelor of Arts courses. The department focuses on improving English communication skills of the students as a part of the learning process. There are number of programmes conducted under the auspices of English department with a view to ameliorate language and literary skills of the students.
